LEC welcomes new teaching fellow to the team.

We are very happy to welcome Dr Matt MacDonald, Teaching Fellow in Enterprise, to Leeds Enterprise Centre.

Dr Matt MacDonald, BEd (Hons), MA, PhD (Lancaster) is an experienced enterprise academic, social entrepreneur and manager.

He joins us from the University of Cumbria (where he was a Senior Lecturer in Social Enterprise at introduced Social Enterprise and a range of new leadership development programmes to the University curriculum) and part-time Lecturer at Lancaster University Management School.

He has also taught on the North West Enterprise School, a residential enterprise programme for PhD students. His teaching experience has included Enterprise and Entrepreneurship, Enterprise Policy, Business Start-up and Innovation. He has also held posts as Chief Executive and as Change Manager for UK charities and is currently Chair of Ludus Dance, a participatory dance charity.

Matt will be running the following elective module:

• Innovation and Creativity in Business (LUBS 1000)
• Leadership in Business (LUBS 1025)
• Innovating Social Enterprise (LUBS 2070)
