You are invited to attend a unique workshop exploring the question: what do young entrepreneurs and start-up businesses need in order to succeed?
Against the backdrop of enduring economic, social and environmental challenges, it is becoming apparent that as a country we will need to look to new ways of fostering growth if we are to prosper in the years ahead.
Join us at this free event in Leeds – one of several across the country – on Friday 9th November, from 10.30am, bringing together entrepreneurs, the organisations that support them, and anyone with an interest in this area.
This is your opportunity to help shape our developing research on the opportunities and gaps of support for young entrepreneurs, and explore practical solutions to some of the barriers that exist. Working with the Royal Bank of Scotland Group’s Inspiring Enterprise initiative, the RSA is carrying out research to identify the needs of young entrepreneurs.
Take a look at this short video of the first workshop, which we held at the RSA in September. There are also two recent reports: the RSA’s Generation Enterprise, on the prospects of the millennial generation, and RBS’ Closing the Generational Gap, on barriers and opportunities for youth enterprise.
The event will be a chance to meet others in the sector, help shape research into providing resources for young entrepreneurs and give you a chance to hear more about the work of the RSA.
