Leeds Enterprise Centre are delighted to invite you to this talk by Professor William B. Gartner, Arthur M. Spiro Professor of Entrepreneurial Leadership at Clemson University, USA who is visiting Leeds for 1 week.

Title: What do entrepreneurs talk about when they talk about failure?
Using a transcriptions of 100+ entrepreneurs who talked about their startups at Stanford University over the last five years, Prof. Gartner provides outlines perspectives on failing in startups (both said and unsaid).

Professor Gartner is a world-renowned scholar of entrepreneurship, from his early frame-breaking work on entrepreneurial behaviour in the 1980’s, through to his work on the major US Panel Studies of Entrepreneurial Dynamics database to his more recent work around the narrative-turn in entrepreneurship research.
