Sam also holds an academic post at Leeds Beckett University (2015 – current day).


Sam’s main research interests are in the areas of ethical leadership, the dialogical self and applying critical perspectives of Ricoeurean philosophy to organisational studies. She is also interested in responsible management, social enterprises and building collective strategies in complex systems. Her research is interdisciplinary in its approach, drawing on ideas and methods from philosophy, work psychology and social science.

Sam has held senior positions within data analytics, strategy and change in leading national and international companies. She now carries out strategic consultancy and independent research on behalf of industry leaders within Enterprise Management, Healthcare, Financial Services and Legal Services.  Sam currently lectures in Contemporary Issues in Business and Leadership, Strategic Management, Strategic HRM and Strategic Learning and Leadership Development at Leeds Beckett University.
