The Centre for Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Studies (CEES) offers a vibrant location for PhD students. Our staff have significant experience of PhD supervision, offering guidance and insight throughout the process. Training is provided through the Business School along with opportunities for further development throughout the University.
We currently have students studying a wide range of topics, including entrepreneurship and public policy, entrepreneurship and psychology, family business, entrepreneurship and migration, and social enterprise. Students are provided with expert supervision and access to a wide range of scholars across the University and beyond. Sam Appleton, First Year PhD student says:
Studying with CEES is so fulfilling. The Centre gives you opportunities to explore your aspirations and provides great access to a network of scholars. The University of Leeds has world-class facilities and support available for PhD students, leaving yourself as the only limitation for what you can achieve.
We are always looking for good students with research interests similar to our own and who meet our entry requirements. If you are interested in studying a PhD at CEES please browse our staff web pages to see our current research interests. Nasir Rajah, 2nd Year PhD student, says:
Studying at CEES and the University of Leeds has been an enriching experience. There are a great diversity of people and ideas which allows me to incorporate different viewpoints. Undertaking my PhD studies here has increased my critical thinking and networking skills.
