Ambassador Day November 2025
On November 11, the Centre for Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Studies hosted Ambassador Day, our bi-annual celebration of enterprise, creativity, and collaboration. Following on from the spring 2025 event, this edition once again brought together students and entrepreneurs to explore the future of business and innovation.

The day featured the AI Business Student Challenge, where Leeds students joined Enterprise Ambassadors, including Jonathan Straight, Adam Jacobs, Sam Taylor, Rana Harvey, and more to explore how artificial intelligence can support real businesses. The primary objective of the session was to explore ways AI can enhance the effectiveness of the ambassadors' ventures, while also examining how AI can be utilised ethically to drive future innovation.

Teams competed for prizes and gained valuable career insights from entrepreneurs. Congratulations to the group working with fusion learning, who won the challenge and took home the top prize. This activity also contributed to the LUBS AI Business Initiator Certificate, providing students with recognition for their innovation and teamwork.
Ambassador Day also included the AI and Entrepreneurship: Opportunity or Threat Expert Panel, with contributions from John Palfreyman (Associate Professor and former IBM Emerging Technology Lead), David Smalley (Co-founder of Litmus), Saile Villegas (Director and Co-founder of Seeai), Zsike Peter (Founder of Vampire Digital), and Sam Taylor (Creative Director and Co-founder of Madeby Studios).

The panellists shared their own experiences of using AI in entrepreneurship and business, sparking discussion on both opportunities and challenges. Their insights also contributed to the LUBS AI Business Initiator Certificate, ensuring students gained academic recognition alongside practical experience.
