Sam Taylor and Emma Woods MBE

CEES are excited to welcome Sam Taylor and Emma Woods MBE as our two new Enterprise Ambassadors. They will join our experienced team of real-life entrepreneurs who play a crucial role in our thriving enterprise community.

Sam Taylor is the Co-Founder of ‘madeby.studio’, and a renowned entrepreneur in digital solutions, recognized as one of Yorkshire's 42 Under 42. With expertise in MedTech and GreenTech, Sam empowers businesses through innovative digital strategies that drive growth and engagement. He specializes in increasing organic search traffic, converting high-quality leads, and creating cohesive online experiences. Sam's role includes participating in panels, providing guidance, and offering students valuable insights into enterprise education at Leeds.

Emma Woods’ outstanding achievements include being awarded an MBE for her contributions to Rural Business & Skills in North Yorkshire. She has also been honoured as Yorkshire Rural Entrepreneur of the Year and possesses over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur and director. Emma has a proven track record of driving business transformation, cost reduction, process and systems efficiencies, and team building in manufacturing, retail, and the art sectors.

Sam and Emma's responsibilities as Enterprise Ambassadors will include actively participating in panel events, providing guidance during networking sessions, and offering our students an unparalleled understanding of how enterprise education at Leeds aligns with the broader business landscape. We're confident that Sam and Emma’s expertise will enrich our community and inspire students on their entrepreneurial journey.
