Goldman Sachs 10K Small Business Programme

Date

Dr Richard Tunstall at the Centre for Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Studies, acted as Section Lead for a new cohort of participants on the internationally recognised Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses programme which saw another successful completion this month. Supported by Leeds University Business School, the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is an investment to help entrepreneurs create jobs and economic opportunity by providing greater access to education, capital and business support services.

Through the programme, participants identify and execute the steps necessary to enable them to scale their ventures, create employment and expand to new markets. Each participants develops a business growth plan throughout the course to implement back in their business.  The programme has reached business from across the UK and has resulted in immediate and sustained business growth for the alumni of the programme. Programme results show that 10,000 Small Businesses graduates consistently grow their revenues, and create jobs at rates that outperform the broader economy, in addition to making behavioural changes.
