LUBS1005 Understanding Enterprise Potential

This module is a great introduction to enterprise. This is a practical module providing a great understanding of what it means to generate a business idea and then bring it to life. Students will be encouraged to develop their networking and team building skills as well as learn to turn problems into opportunities.

LUBS2075 Gender and Entrepreneurship

This is a unique module exploring gender in the context of entrepreneurship. Students will be looking at UK and international policy as well as debate current issues around gender and entrepreneurship. They will also develop their skills analysing and reflecting on gendered entrepreneurial practices and gender-related entrepreneurship issues both generally and within their subject discipline.

LUBS3009 Social Networking and New Venture Creation

This module explores how social networking and social media can be used to enable new venture creation and growth. It offers students the opportunity to develop their skills in innovation and creativity. They will discuss their ideas with skilled entrepreneurs who will help them to really stretch their ideas. It's another great opportunity for students to work on employability skills, particularly enterprise skills and social media.
