After a busy few weeks of induction activities, lectures, and seminars, our annual ‘Networking and Nibbles’ event was a welcome opportunity to bring enterprise students together form across the university to meet each other and share ideas. Held on the 19th of October in the fantastic Nexus atrium, MSc Enterprise and Entrepreneurship students and undergraduate ‘with Enterprise’ students (Biology with Enterprise, Biotechnology with Enterprise, Theatre and Performance with Enterprise, Music with Enterprise, and Social Policy with Enterprise) were joined by CEES staff and our Enterprise Ambassadors.

After some words of welcome from the Academic Director of Enterprise Dr Richard Tunstall, along with enterprise programme directors, attendees  heard from Enterprise Ambassador Nina Aggarwal (Founder and Global MD Fusion Learning) about the power of networking and then tried out what they had learned and were invited to participate in a game of ‘People Bingo’ – with a prize of a box of chocolates for the winner. Attendees got stuck in by circulating around, making new connections and, of course, enjoying the nibbles and soft drinks provided.

The event was a great success and all are looking forward to next year’s addition.
