Study for a PhD at the Centre for Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Studies
The Centre for Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Studies (CEES) offers a vibrant location for PhD students. Our staff have significant experience of PhD supervision, offering guidance and insight throughout the process. Training is provided through the Business School along with opportunities for further development throughout the University.
We currently have students studying a wide range of topics, including entrepreneurship and public policy, entrepreneurship and psychology, family business, entrepreneurship and migration, and social enterprise. Students are provided with expert supervision and access to a wide range of scholars across the University and beyond. As two of our current PhD students commented:
Studying with the CEES is so fulfilling. The Centre gives you opportunities to explore your aspirations and provides great access to a network of scholars. The University of Leeds has world-class facilities and support available for PhD students, leaving yourself as the only limitation for what can be achieved! Sam Appleton, First Year PhD student.
Studying at CEES and the University of Leeds has been an enriching experience. There are a great diversity of people and ideas which allows me to incorporate different viewpoints. Undertaking my PhD studies here has increased my critical thinking and networking skills. Nasir Rajah, 2nd Year PhD student.
