Project title: Senior Entrepreneurs and Dynamic Managerial Capabilities in the Thai SMEs
Summary of Research Area:
Thitikan Khamwan is a PhD researcher at the Centre of Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Studies at Leeds University Business School. Thitikan has a background in engineering as well as strategic business planning in the automobile industry in Thailand. Recently, she has acquired a scholarship from Northern Science Park - the Royal Thai Government, to study entrepreneurship and strategic management. Her research focuses on senior entrepreneurs who engage in entrepreneurial activities. The reason for this is that the world has transformed into an ageing society. She aims to study the motivations of senior entrepreneurs and how they develop and maintain their dynamic managerial capabilities, particularly the SMEs in Thailand.
