Project Title: Senior Entrepreneurs and Dynamic Managerial Capabilities in the Thai SMEs

Summary of Research Area:

Thitikan Khamwan is a doctoral researcher at the Centre of Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Studies at Leeds University Business School. Thitikan has a background in engineering as well as strategic business planning in the automobile industry in Thailand. Recently, she has acquired the scholarship from Northern Science Park – the Royal Thai Government, to study entrepreneurship and strategic management. Her research focuses on senior entrepreneurs who engage in entrepreneurial activities. The reason for this is that the world has transformed into an older ageing society. She aims to study entrepreneurial characteristics and motivations of which might impact on the development of dynamic managerial capabilities, particularly the SMEs in Thailand.
