Jonathan Seaton

Jonathan (Jon) Seaton is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Twinkl Educational Publishing, the world’s largest and loveliest provider of quality teaching resources.

Jon has a love for education and believes that Twinkl exists to provide high-quality teaching resources that support the profession. The site, www.twinkl.co.uk, has grown rapidly since 2010 and now serves hundreds of thousands of educators in over 200 countries and regions worldwide. Jon is particularly interested in business strategy, the social and ethical dimensions of business and brand lovemarks.  Jon believes passionately in the principle of business making a lasting difference to those it serves, so Twinkl’s mission is ‘to help those who teach’.  This continues to drive Jon and all aspects of the company today.

When schools around the world began to close because of the coronavirus pandemic, Jonathan and the team at Twinkl recognised how their teaching and learning materials could help as people adapted to home learning. In 2020 Jonathan was awarded an MBE in recognition for services to Technology and Education during the Coronavirus pandemic in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List.

Twinkl is continuing to support those affected by the pandemic across the globe by continuing to innovate and equip teachers, parents and carers with the tools they need during this difficult time. The Home Learning Hub continues to be updated on a daily basis and is available for free for those who need support with home learning.
