Welcome to our course “Starting a Business” we hope that you’ll find lots of inspiration and ideas from our featured entrepreneurs, business advisers and teachers.
Before you start we would like to know a little bit more about you.
We have provided a link to a number of questions about your experience of other online courses, your preferences regarding business topics and how you use social media. It will only take 10 minutes and these questions will help you to think about your current experience and future plans.

We’ll ask you for an email address (please use your school one) but don’t worry, this is just to help us to keep track of how many people are using the course. You will be asked to give it again when you complete quizzes. This is just to help us, and you, keep track of your progress through the course.
If you already have a business idea that you would like to develop, you can download a Business Plan Template (below) and add to it as you work through the course.
