On Wednesday 25th February, the Leeds Enterprise Centre welcomed four entrepreneurs, including business founders and company directors, to talk about the relevance of business plans in the creation of new ventures. Each panel member spoke about their experiences in setting up their own businesses and the importance of business planning.
The competition provided the opportunity to showcase the talent of Leeds students and for them to have their work displayed to a wide audience and judged by the expert panel from the Enterprise of Culture Research team.
On 4th December, six academics from iCare and the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Aarhus University in Denmark visited Leeds as part of their global study tour of leading Entrepreneurial Universities.
